Stillness as an inner vibration — abstract moments where tension, not silence, becomes the shape of the image.
“Moments in Stillness” explores the fragile space where silence is never truly still.
These works capture the quiet pressure beneath calm surfaces —
the subtle trembling of a mind that has never known complete peace.
The images are not representations, but traces:
echoes of motion suspended, gradients that breathe,
black forms rising and dissolving like memories refusing to settle.
Stillness here is not serenity.
It is the moment before something breaks,
the pause where emotion thickens, stretches, and becomes form.
By reducing the world to line, shadow, and evaporating edges,
the series invites the viewer to listen for what cannot be heard —
the internal rhythm that stirs even in absolute quiet.
Each piece becomes a held breath,
a place where the viewer must lean in,
because behind the stillness there is always movement.
Behind the calm, a pulse.
Behind the silence, a life that has never stopped vibrating.

Inspired by the language of sumi-e ink, minimalist abstraction, and the tension between presence and disappearance. The series draws from the idea that silence is not emptiness, but a field charged with unspoken energy.
Created with Midjourney V6 (style raw). Refined in Lightroom. Black-and-white abstraction focused on gradients, diffusion, and gesture.
